Saturday 27th.August
Friday night raffle was a non-event, in other words, I did not win anything!
Tomorrow morning, Sunday I'll be going reef fishing, up to 10 miles offshore
and I hope that I'll have some luck and hope the fish like whatI'm offering.
A big thankyou to our good neighbours for some nice gifts.
I hope to have some nice FISH photos to publish next week, even if I have to borrow the fish.
See you again next week, take careThe Gardener

Apologies
Better late than never
To both Dorothy and Charles,
It is not easy being without a secretary. She not only does the cooking and household chores but she TELLS me when the family birthdays come along, so you see without her to remind me of those anniversaries, but I now know to look in her special calendar in the verandah, so Vivienne I won't forget yours! I think I could do with a new secretary! A young one
See you all next weekend

Friday 19th
Tonight I brought something home a tray of rump steak!
The trip to the Club bore some fruit, at least I'll have an excuse to start the BBQ.
And whilst cleaning around the garden, I also found something that our visitor last week had
left for us! They are a bit on the small size, but should go well with the meat nevertheless.
Have a nice week

Another Weekend
Tried my luck with the weekly Friday night raffle, but this time came away empty handed! But that is the name of the game, one cannot win every time; better luck next time! As Spring is getting so close,I decided to try planting some early tomatoes, only about 18 or 20, as the space available is rather limited, have to leave space for other vegetables.
During the week we had an unusual visitor, I think it's a she, but did not lay any eggs, she is now back with her owners ( for good I hope) chickens and gardens don't go too well together.
At the end of the month Ill be going deep sea fishing, as the boat engine has been repaired, after nearly two months, so hope we'll have a succesful outing! I'll keep everybody posted on the progess of my garden.
Happy reading
