3 Months and still no Fishing

For one reason or another, it has been 2 months, and this months fishing outing, due on the 4th. Sunday of the month, and it co-indices with Easter Sunday, I had to pull out, as Easter is a big Day in our family, so it will be 3 months without fishing. I phoned the Club President, and told him of my decision, that means that one of the "Stand-by" members will take my place.

This morning I picked some Mangos from out tree, I usually wait until they fall down of their own accord, and I then know that they are ripe, this year the tree produced around 30 fruits.
Yesterday I also picked the first of many Chokos
I hope the rest of the family like Chokos...there is only one (1) other person that makes up our family at the moment.

And some "Old fashion" Dahlias, my Mother used to grow them, and I have been able to keep them going from year to year.
Have a nice week

Good times do Return

At long last Dooleys put me on their winning list again.

Last night I went to Dooleys for the usual Friday night Raffle, together with my wife Eileen and our friend Frank from (Coffs Harbour), and this time I was successful, in winning two (2) prizes.

In case you want to know the result of our last Fishing trip, well it never took place, I had all the gear ready, bait and all, only to come home on Saturday night, and find a message from the new Club President, to let me know that the "Trip" had again been cancelled, due the "High" seas.
This was te second month that we have not been able to go fishing, all was not lost,my wife.used the bait (prawns)to have them for breakfast on Sunday morning...and she said they were very nice!
Hope for better luck next month.
