NO FISHING THIS WEEKEND

As I expected, received a phone call from the president of the our Fishing Club, that the skipper of the boat had phoned him to advice that because of the bad weather, that he would not be able to take the boat out on the Sunday.

So the next trip out for the Dooleys Fishing Club, would now be on the 21st. of December.

I get another chance to go fishing next Sunday, with the Chester Hill RSL Fishing club, hopefully the seas should have calmed down by then.

Did not catch this one, but it tasted great !
It goes to show, that one does not have to go fishing, to eat fish !

Weather not too promising

All ready to go fishing with the Dooleys Club tomorrow, but the prospect is no too good! Looking at the weather radar, all I can see is medium to heavy rain squalls all the way down the South Coast, and forecasts of high winds, so it could be that we'll be eating the BAIT and not the fish tomorrow.

Last week I attended the Presentation night for the Chester Hill RSL Fishing Club, they had some good catches in the past year, so I will have to try and have some good catches, so that I too can receive a prize next year.

I'll try and have my name engraved on one of the trophies next year

The Fishing Club President on the left, and the RSL President on the right, making the presentations.
Some American Tree Tomato Plants that I grew from seed, should grow fairly quickly now.

No shortage of zucchini, the tomatoes are also coming on OK, the beans are OK also....some of them, the next lot are just coming out of the ground.
And now I'll have to wait for the weather to decide on what to do for tomorrow!
Happy fishing ?
