A Great Day at Sea

The weather was perfect, the fishing was good, even I had a good day! And untangled quite a few for Mr. Tangles (Adam) he seems to rely on me to fix his lines, and he catches quite a few fish also.

I caught 13 fish, but Adam caught the largest fish....2 months in a row, but everyone took fish home for Christmas.

I caught 3 fish in one go, Tony even caught a fish with the sinker, yes the fish decided to swallow the sinker, and did not let go, so he ended up in Tony's tray.

THIS WAS MY CATCH

On the way back, we stopped at a hotel, for 1 glass of beer, as this was the last fishing day before Christmas and 2008!

L to R Lionel, Adam and Joe (Aussie Joe). I just took the photo.
MERRY CHRISTMAS-BUON NATALE !

CHRISTMAS 2008

CHRISTMAS 2008 is only a few more days away

But before Christmas Day, we have another last time to add to our fish catch, Sunday 21st. it

is the last fishing outing for the Dooleys Fishing Club, so we are all hoping to have a good day out,

the last trip out with the Chester Hill RSL Fishing Club, was quite succesful for me, no fish over

1KG were caught, but most caught enough for a good feed, we even put some in the freezer, to be used when the fishing is not so good!

This evening I was lucky enough to win a meat tray, and we cooked one nice steak when I returned home.
Last Friday night, my wife and I took four of our grandchildren for a drive around Sydney west, to have a look at some of the Christmas lights that so many households spend quite a lot of time to set them up, for the general public to admire, it is a never ending effort, to keep on improving the display each year! Certainly much appreciated by all the children and their parents.

I wish everyone a very Holy and Peaceful and safe Christmas 2008, and a Happy and Prosperous NEW YEAR
