July 25th. Fishing trip

Today's fishing trip with 11 members of the Dooley's Club, was well attended, but unfortunately,
the fish decided not to join us, the weather was quite pleasant, no rain and fairly low seas, and the sun even came out for a while, but all that we could manage, was 32 fish in total,....not a very good tally.
The highlight, was when 2 whales, surfaced very close to the boat on two occasions, the second time, only about 50 metres away, but dived again,not to be seeing again, could not get the camera out in time!
One good thing, was that I caught a 1Kg. Morwong, that was good enough to get me the $20 voucher prize! That will at least keep my "wife" quite for a day or two!

New Fishing Club President

DOOLEYS FISHING CLUB HAS A NEW PRESIDENT

The fishing has not been great, with the Dooleys Fishing Club, but with Winter, soon to turn to Spring, we are expecting an increase in membership, and we now have a new President, as Tony resigned the position, due to hill health, we wish Tony a speedy recovery, and expect him back on the boat very soon. Tony Muscat, has accepted the position of President, together with that of "weigh master", we all hope to keep him busy weighing all the that we expect to catch!

This is my last catch, some good fish, but also less desirable ones, but one never knows what is coming up.

The Dooleys Raffle has not been a treasure chest neither! But the luck is also due to change, so next week I'm due to win some good prizes.....and if I do, I'll let you all know.

And I also have been resting my garden patch, but it is also due to have some time spent on it.

I'll start tomorrow ......weather permitting!
