REGENTS PARK Mens Shed
Here are some shots that I took at the opening of the Regents Park Men's Shed, should be a nice place to spend an hour or two, a couple of times a week!
MEN'S SHED
REGENTS PARK
Now men from around the Berala, Regents Park,Auburn area, will have a place to go to, if they don't have a shed of their own at home!

Today saw the official opening of the "Regents Park Men's Shed"
Around about 70 or so people, attended the official opening of the SHED, followed by an inspection (look around) of the new facilities/work shop, training room, office, computer room, and all the other facilities, that would allow a group of "men", to do some creative work, or to share their knowledge with others, and to talk, and generally get to know others, that want to do things with their hands, and create things, like toys etc. and maybe acquire new skills.
The centre was opened by the Mayor of Auburn City Council, Councillor Zraika, together with the
President of the Vietnam Veterans,Peacemakers and Peacekeepers Association of Australia, Ian McCombe OAM.
A understand, that a number of Associations are involved with the project, so it seems that it will be able to go ahead and be successful. The Australian Government, the State Government, Auburn Council, the Lidcombe TAFE, and other bodies, are supporting the project.
I wish it LUCK and SUCCESS .
