Is BERALA the FORGOTTEN SUBURB ?

These pictures, were taken yesterday, but they look very much like the ones I took same 2 years back, so it looks like nothing much has changed.

3 owners later, I think, but still no shopping centre for Berala.

In answer to whoever asked the question on my blog, the answer is that we are all still hoping for (a miracle) to see one built, meanwhile, we go to the Chester Hill Centre to do our shopping!

On a better note, last night at raffle, I won two prizes, a meat tray, and a breakfast tray, a very good start to 2010.

Last Sunday, we were supposed to go fishing with the Chester Hill RSL Club, but as it is becoming the NORM, the trip was put off again, because of inclement weather -ie- rough seas.
Hope for better weather on the 28th. of February, the date for the Dooleys Club next outing !

We still have a few fish left in the freezer.
