ANOTHER DISAPPOINTEMENT

Yesterday morning my wife and I attended the ANZAC DAY Dawn Service at the Lidcombe
RSL Club, we arrived at around 4.45 am, and after a cup of coffee and biscuits, we all went to the 1st floor area of the Club for the "indoor" Service, Because of the inclement weather the Club decided to hold the Service indoors, about 200 people were present, together with a small contingent of personnel from the Services.
A number of wreaths were laid in honor of the Fallen, the Padre spoke about the many sacrifices made by the soldiers for the Country, and we all said prayers for them.
After the official proceedings, the Club invited all those present, to a free breakfast, provided by the Lidcombe RSL Club.

I only took this one photo of the Wreaths.

FISHING TRIP

I did not think that it was possible, but it was, just before 7.00 pm, Tony, the "Club President "called, to .......wait for it..... tell me that he had just received a call from the "Skipper" that as strong winds were expected tomorrow "Sunday" and high seas, the FISHING TRIP WAS CANCELLED. Looks like I'll have to take sea sickness tablets the next time we go out! The only good thing is that we'll have prawns for Breakfast tomorrow!

After all the rain that we been having, I'll be able to spend some time in the garden.
